Murtabak Maggie

By Tasty30 min🍽 1 servings

Say hello to your new favorite comfort food mashup! This Murtabak Maggie is a tasty twist on the popular ramen omelette from Malaysian street food carts, blending Japanese and Malaysian flavors with a fun fusion twist. We’ve added a Korean-inspired corn cheese filling and a bacon-wrapped hot dog to the ramen. Finished with a drizzle of Kewpie mayo, a splash of Sriracha, and a sprinkle of furikake, this dish is a flavor-packed adventure that will make your taste buds sing! Check out Sarah’s blog, groovyfoodiess.com for more fun, flavorful mashup recipes.

Instructions

  1. 1

Cook ramen per packet instructions. Drain well and set aside.

  2. 2

Wrap the hot dog with the two strips of bacon. Add the hot dog to a pan over medium heat. Cover and cook for about 4 minutes or until bacon is cooked and slightly charred. Remove and set aside.

  3. 3

Generously spray the pan with nonstick cooking spray. Add the cooked ramen, spreading the noodles evenly in the pan.

  4. 4

Pour the eggs over the noodles and swirl to coat the bottom of the pan. Top with American cheese, bacon-wrapped hot dog, mozzarella cheese, corn, and green onion. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and Sriracha.

  5. 5

Cover and cook over medium heat for 2 minutes, or until the eggs are set. Fold the omelet.

  6. 6

Drizzle with Kewpie mayo, Sriracha, and furikake for garnish.

  7. 7

    Enjoy!
