Add oil to a large skillet. Then, add cubed ham, salt and pepper to taste, and cook until ham is heated through.

Make a well in the center of the skillet. Add sesame oil as well as the green onions. Cook until fragrant - approximately 2 minutes.

To the green onions, add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant.

Add the soy sauce, red pepper flakes, and sugar to a separate bowl. Mix to create a thick paste. Add more sugar or pepper flakes to make it more sweet or spicy.

Add the paste to the pan and stir to mix. Add splashes of water as needed to incorporate.
