Gingerbread Wookiee Cookies

By Tasty262 min🍽 20 servings

Calling all Star Wars fans! These gingerbread Wookiee cookies are out of this world. They're chewy, spiced, and festive!

Instructions

  1. 1

Combine all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl. Once dough begins to form a ball in the center.

  2. 2

    Dust generously with flour.

  3. 3

Separate into three sections to make rolling easier. Cover dough with plastic wrap or wax paper.

  4. 4

Chill for at least 4 hours, or overnight.

  5. 5

Dust a smooth surface with flour, and roll out a section of the dough to about ¼ inch (6 mm) thick. Use a gingerbread man cookie cutter, or a knife to slice out your Wookiees.

  6. 6

Wookiees are tall, so you may want to stretch out the head and feet! Place on parchment paper on a baking sheet, and score the cookie’s surface to look like fur.

  7. 7

Bake at 350˚F (180˚C) for 10-12 min. Your Wookiees will puff up quickly!

  8. 8

Melt the chocolate and put into a piping bag.

  9. 9

Add the bandolier, eyes and nose.

  10. 10

Serve these soft and *chewie* Wookiee cookies

  11. 11

    Enjoy!
